Other than being one of the prettiest girls in H!P (in my opinion), Sawada Yuri doesn’t have many qualities or traits that I can speak of. I don’t know much about her at all, and I have hardly witnessed her personality or what she acts like off-stage. She has a very pleasant voice that is strong, and never squeaky or unsteady. I would love to see and hear more of her, preferably in the center of an activity, instead of blended into a group of the not-so-popular girls in a unit. I feel that she is talented enough (and pretty enough) to be put in the spotlight as the center of a unit, or at least as one of the leads. She is someone that I wouldn’t and haven’t forgotten about, despite the fact that she doesn’t get much attention. She does well in Ongaku Gatas, but let’s see what she can do on her own!!

Resonant Blue Positives

1) The choreography is amazing
2) Everyone is gorgeous, even the ugly ones
3) This is supposedly the unveiling of the “New Morning Musume”, or something like that, so we can expect more of their stuff to have this kind of feel to it
4) It seems more mature than other MM releases, as it should be; there aren’t any 12 year olds in Morning Musume anymore
5) The actual song is very good!

Resonant Blue Negatives

1) The B-side to this single is not worth listening to, let alone the time and effort and money that went into MM recording it.
2) The non-leads and Koha’s outfits are questionable
3) The 2 alternate PV’s aren’t interesting
4) We didn’t get to hear JunJun or Linlin
5) The next MM single will probably be a slower song, considering we’ve had 5 faster, more dramatic songs in a row

What other people think is terrible that isn’t that bad in my opinion

1) Ai/Reina Leading: While all of the girls have truly unique and equally appealing voices, Ai and Reina did perform extraordinarily in the PV and performances, with their presence, attitude, dancing, as well as vocally. They are both amazing leaders when it comes to being leads for songs, and I don’t think the rest of MM will be background dancers for the rest of MM’s career, probably only for this single.
2) The Original PV
3) “Prostitute” Reina: I think she looks fine! And she always looks that way, not just in this particular PV!

My Questions

1) Why does Kamei seem to have different choreography than anyone else in the PV?
2) Will future releases be similar sounding, or just “similar” in the sense that they’ll be more mature?
3) Why does Koha have to be in the semi-center when she has so many other projects and the rest of Morning Musume doesn’t?
4) Why does it seem like the smaller MM girls wore over-the-knee socks?

I’ve been waiting to talk about Resonant Blue until after it was released. I guess I wanted to wait to hear the single in it’s entirety, which wasn’t really worth it. The B-side is a piece of crap. On the contrary, Resonant Blue is one of the best songs I have EVER heard from Morning Musume. The Instrumental by itself would have compelled me to buy the single.

I am not sure how many times Tsunku has said he wants to introduce a “new Morning Musume”, but this version doesn’t seem much different from Onna ni Sachi Are’s MM, which I loved. My ideal Morning Musume would be producing work like…well basically like what they HAVE been producing for the past 5 singles, excluding Mikan. I feel that Morning Musume is going in the right direction.

First of all, I would like to point out that everyone looks better these days, especially since Resonant Blue, except for maybe Koharu. Takahashi impressed me the most when it came to looks for this release. Although they’re wearing heavier makeup than usual, I think the style and feel of this release suits them well.

LinLin looks pretty decent with this release.

I know a lot of people liked the more PV-ish PV more than the original, which is more like a dance-shot, but I prefer the first one. The choreography is mesmerizing and powerful, and the girls look amazing.
The Studio Version is rather pointless in my opinion, but it gave interesting views of the dance.
The other version (I don’t know what it is called) where they’re walking around and exercising is boring, and my least favorite of them.
The dance is the most major likable part of this entire release or single, their image and outfits being second to that.

The thing I loved about this single was that EVERYONE looks good.
This post is so unorganized,  but I have trouble getting my thoughts on this release together. I give this single a solid A+ in all areas (:.

Yajima is currently my favorite member of C-ute. I feel she does a great job as leader, and in my opinion, is the prettiest and most lady-like of the group. Her voice is deep and unique, and reminds me of Kaori Iida’s. This girl is hopefully headed for more and more great things, maybe she could even surpass C-ute in time. When she paired up with Abe Natsumi, I was far more impressed and interested with Yajima, and I truly believe that says a lot for Yajima, considering Abe has had more than 10 years in the business and was once one of the most valued voices of the organization we know as H!P. I really hope Yajima Maimi has a bright and successful future ahead, and I will be supporting her until the day she graduates (which hopefully won’t be for another 10-15 years!)

I have been waiting for Momoko to “grow up” for quite a while now. I always think to myself ” I wonder what she’s going to look like when she’s older.” But she’s already 16, and I should have had to stop saying that a few years back. I love the way she looks because she’s adorable, but she has looked the same practically from birth. Also, I find that if I look at her face too closely, she looks strange, like an elf, pixie, or gnome. She also looks a lot like Airi (C-ute) in some of her photos. Her voice is enjoyable, but again, it hasn’t changed much. One of the things I love the most about H!P is watching as the girls progress and get better in many different ways. Momoko hasn’t changed much in any way.

Kikkawa Yuu would have gotten an entirely different profile here if I had written in a week or so earlier. But with “Anataboshi” out, my opinion of her has changed tremendously. Upon watching the PV I saw just how charming she could be. On top of that, her dancing is not in the least bit clumsy, her voice is clear and enjoyable, and she is actually quite pretty now with her long hair. I DID NOT like this girl a week ago. In fact, I though she was weird-looking and couldn’t understand why Tsunku had decided to bother with her after Aika was chosen to join MM. But now I fully appreciate him adding her to the Eggs and her presence in the new anime group, even if Kusumi is in it too. She reminds me of Megumi because they are both on the pale side and always seem to have wide-open eyes. I’m very glad Kikkawa was added to a group, and I’m starting to like her more and more (:

I don’t know about Chinami…she is certainly getting prettier by the day, especially now that she’s growing her hair out. She has a wonderful personality as well. She’s always cheerful, and very silly, which does Berryz well. Her vocal abilities aren’t the greatest, but they’re high-pitched, a little squeaky, and overall they’re just cute, and also fit right in perfectly with the rest of the girls’ vocals. She sounds good. The thing I’m not sure about is where she will go in the future. I would hate to see her become another Abe Natsumi or MC or something.
She’s a favorite of mine, but I don’t think she’ll go far in H!P, which is sad.

Very very cute Chinami here

First of all, I’ve only seen news about this on Some Boys!, no one is really talking about it. So if this group turns out to be like the Canaries Club or something and are nothing to worry about, I’ll feel like an idiot.
Second, I hardly even know who Hello! Pro Kansai is, so this group is certainly bound to not make me happy.

As you can see, this group is made up of all of the Kansai girls, Noto Arisa of Ongaku Gatas, and 2 no-faces, yui and aoi.

There are several things wrong with this group already, before they have even really made their debut (I’ve been watching too many K-boy related shows, “Before my debut I was a waitress at DogCow Restaurant”, “Before my debut I didn’t shave my armpits.” Sorry.)

1) Hello! Pro Kansai was 100% unappealing in the first place, why put them in a group of any kind, even if it’s not going to get a half penny’s worth of recognition? All of the girls are completely plain-looking, and one of them is even named “Asami Abe”. We already have/had a female named Asami Abe associated with the Hello!Project/TNX, and this H!Pro girl even LOOKS like Abebe, so why do we even need another one? One of them should be justifiably eliminated, and H!Pro Abe is younger so there is no reason for her to even exist.
The only girl who stands out to me is Aoi, and only because she looks like Abebe’s friend Sonene.

2) Charismatic Noto Arisa, from Ongaku Gatas? In my book she is basically right up there with Mano Erina, and Erina was made into a soloist. Noto’s next project is THIS?

3) They aren’t even really doing anything. They’re singing already-famous, already-sung songs.

I just feel like H!P, Tsunku, whoever is managing the formations of new groups these days, should really think about the kind of groups they’re choosing to throw together, and not waste their time with groups like this.

but she doesn’t need to be. She’s one of my favorites of Berryz.

Since Koha has joined, I have not known whether to like her, or hate her. She has such an insane and obliviously obnoxious personality that I just want to sock her in the jaw so she can’t talk anymore! But other times, she is really quite funny and charming. I cannot deny that she brings a majority of the personality to Morning Musume. Her voice is completely horrible, which is something I can’t forgive because I have a feeling she does this on purpose. She is incredibly successful in H!P, and I doubt she will stop being put into groups for a long long time. She also looks like Miyavi, who is as equally irritating, obnoxious, and retarded.

An enigma. Miyabi is mysterious and quiet to me. I fell in love with her when she was part of Sexy Otonajan, back when she was 12 or so. I think she was a lot prettier when she was younger. I don’t want to be mean, but she has quite a long chin and face, comparable to Kusumi’s, which is why Kusumi’s name is mentioned above. As Miyabi has grown older, my interest in her has faded, and now I hardly notice her at all, although I think she is well suited for Buono!.

Mitsui! Our first Morning Musume member on the list. Everything about Mitsui is cute, but it stops there. Her voice is very nasally in my opinion, which is cute…but it should have gotten better by now. I love her personality, because she seems to have taken after Niigaki, and is always smiling and giggling. She is not one of my favorites in MM, but I can’t say I don’t like anything about her.

I want to like Kanna, but in a lot of ways, she is uninteresting to me. I can’t even recall what her voice sounds like. Also, she strikes me as the most early-teen-ish out of all of the members, which annoys me for some reason. There is nothing extremely special about her, other than the fact that she looks slightly American.

I really admire Yurina, because she is tall and extremely pretty. Her voice is on the deep side, and I don’t much enjoy it on its own, but it sounds perfect when mixed with the other members’. She seems to be shy and quiet, but I have to say i wouldn’t know much because I 1)Don’t watch many Berryz-related talks, and 2) I don’t pay attention to Yurina when I do watch them anyway. I like Kumai Yurina. She reminds me of a long-legged spider.
