Tanaka Reina is my favorite H!P member, so obviously she has high levels of everything above. But even aside from my obvious bias for her, she is a great “idol” and a major part of the H!P and Morning Musume. I really don’t know much about her, even though she is my favorite. Apparently there was a scandal involving her a while back that threw her temporarily out of the spotlight and center of her group. If anyone knows about this, feel free to enlighten me, I have no idea what that’s about. But she’s back in the spotlight these days, as anyone can see in MM’s latest PV “Resonant Blue”.
While many, many people thought the the video was unfair, I think Reina SHOULD be somewhat centered on when it comes to the group.
Reina has an amazing voice that is always a pleasure to hear and stands out no matter who else she is singing with. Its unique and has some sort of quality that makes me want to put her in the same voice category as Suzuki Airi and Chisato. Anyway, it’s much more satisfying to hear than any of the other MM girls, in my honest opinion.
Reina has some kind of aura about her and an incredible stage presence as well, and I always love seeing her in PV’s. Especially in ONSA and Resonant Blue, where her performances were even a little dramatic.
She is also the cutest little cross-eyed, pigtailed yankee MM will ever see.
Her contributions to High-King don’t impress me, I’ll admit, but then again, High-King as a whole is sh*t, if you’ll excuse me. However, I’m sure Reina will go far in H!P and continue to be my favorite as well as many others’, I’m sure.

I know absolutely NOTHING about this girl! She curiously resembles 50% of the girls in Cutie magazines! I’ve seen many Japanese girls who look almost exactly like her, but she is fairly pretty, so it’s ok (:. She’s one of the older Eggs, and also seems to be one of the less popular among them. I’d like to see her involved in something, but if she never is, oh well.

I have yet to find two or more pictures of Linlin where she doesn’t look like a goblin. I’ve found one already. She is rather small, which is not a bad thing, but most of the time she’s frighteningly strange-looking in her facial area. I also dislike how she changes her singing voice. To this day, I’m not sure which is her real voice. Linlin has a great personality, but sometimes I feel like she is overreacting and trying to fit into the “kawaii” image too hard. I guess I just never warmed up to the 8th gen :/.

Mano Erina is one act I am anticipating. I cannot wait for her to debut, as H!P hasn’t introduced a new soloist in a while. I don’t count Kusumi as a serious soloist either. Erina shined in Ongaku Gatas, and has a sweet and girly voice. Her voice is undoubtedly nice to hear, the only problem with it is that it doesn’t sound too powerful. Kind of like Natsumi Abe’s voice. I hope Erina’s “training” period included vocal lessons, because I would love to discover that her voice has gotten stronger. I think Mano will be extremely popular, and although I don’t know much about her, I am supporting her 100 percent. She has a single out this month if I’m not mistaken, and I really hope she does well and remains a solo artist for a long time. I really believe H!P needed another one, all of the current ones are getting old and singing granny songs.
Erina resembles Goto Maki, but I hope she learns to seperate herself from the current (or ex) soloists in H!P, and become something even greater.
